Timothy L. Trujillo is a Mind-Body Healing Specialist with certificates in Acupuncture, Hypnotherapy, Reiki, and Reflexology.
He has developed systematic methods to help individuals affected by immune disorders and trained many practitioners in their application. As founder of non-profit First Medicines, he has helped to deliver this system of care to HIV/AIDS-impacted populations in Los Angeles for over ten years and developed a network of practitioners in fourteen states and five countries.
He has led outreach projects in Guatemala, India, and New Orleans, reaching beyond HIV care to address traumatic distress in survivors of tsunami, hurricane, and civil war. He presented his methods as a Global Solution for HIV/AIDS Management at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, where he also interfaced with many indigenous leaders from around the world.
For this work he received the Medaille d’Excellence from the International Human Rights Consortium in Geneva, and a PhD from Curentur University in Los Angeles. He is a graduate and former instructor at Gil Boyne’s Hypnotism Training Institute of Los Angeles and served as an Examiner for the American Council of Hypnotists Examiners. He maintains private practice in Beverly Hills, CA and Oklahoma City, where hes is also Director of First Medicines. A lifelong entertainer and performer, his presentations are imbued with enthusiasm, humor, and rich storytelling rooted in deep compassion for those who suffer.
